Anyone else in the AUH?

So here I was planning to draw and upload something epic for the new year. (Happy new year to you all, by the way! May 2013 be good to us xD) I mean, I already had the details and sketch in mind, but I've been kept pretty busy this week, my dad being all 'HOMG, we MUST go visit every single landmark and tourist spot here in the UAE while you're here so you can make the most of your stay.' So yeah, travelling here, visiting there, and in the end, I couldn't find the time to draw out my new years pic. I realized that it'll probably be like this until I leave, so I thought, 'Meh, why not?'

I'll be going to Dubai in a few hours to catch the opening of the Dubai Festival, and I have a feeling I'll be getting pretty bored on the way there, so feel free to start a conversation. (Was it obvious that I'm desperate here? I haven't fiddled with my phone in 2 weeks due to no one being able to text me here. My phone needs some attention, the poor thing ;__; )

But yeah, I can't even write up a proper journal at the moment, and I thought that this would be a good way to stay in contact with you guys while on vacation, so...yeah.
But hey, if any of you guys will also be at the Dubai Festival today, maybe we'll bump into each other or something xD
