Calm | Level-headed | Cheerful | Strategic | Calculating | A tad mischevious | Posessive |
Caynn can usually be found wearing a calm smile on his face.
Other times he acts as the carefree and cheerful person of the group, with a big smile on his face.
His sociability is of a decent level, enough that it will be quite easy to get along with him, so long as you don't do/say anything to get on his nerves.
However, he's the type of person who acts as if nothing that happens directly affects him or his lifestyle.
In a normal, everyday situation, he's hardly one to stand out in a crowd.
He laughs, just like everybody else. He speaks to people as any other person would. He has his funny moments and his bad.
In short, he doesn't have much of a personality.
...But in a serious situation, or on the rare occassions he lets his anger show,
...Well, that's a different matter entirely.
To begin with, he's a very secretive person.
When asked about him or his past, his social skills lets him naturally evade the questions directed towards him.
He doesn't dig too deep into other people's past, and he doesn't reveal much about his, either.
He tends not to take anything too seriously, and treats everything, and everyone, as a mere passing presence.
He never lets an unwanted expression slip from his face, nor does he ever say anything carelessly.
The only expression he'll ever permit people to see...is his usual, calm smile.
h-istory: (amg, im really sorry for the length of this all OTL)
At a young age, Caynn and his younger twin brother, Cam, were sold by their parents to a military training facility located in an isolated area somewhere in Soviet Russia. There, the both of them were mercilessly and harshly trained in both martial arts and armed combat. Soon enough, the climax of the war came. Caynn and Cam were immediately sent to Germany to aid the Russian forces there. In the midst of gunfire, Caynn had noticed that Cam was trying to yell something at him. But only too late, did Caynn realize what his brother was trying to warn him about. He saw every bit of it. From the moment the bullet broke a hole through his brother's skull, to the moment it made its way through to the other side. Caynn wasn't even permitted the time to process what just happened. He heard the shuffling of footsteps behind him, and quickly turned around to see a large silhouette, looming over him. It raised it's rifle, and the glimmer of the bayonet caught his eye. At that moment, reality had hit. Death. His brother was dead. The silhouette brought down it's bayonet, aiming for Caynn's forehead. The German soldier felt it hit something as it came to a stop. Caynn had dodged the bayonet by a hair's breadth, so that it missed his forehead...and hit his right eye, instead. The soldier quickly tried to pull his bayonet away, but Caynn's grip on it wouldn't budge. Slowly, Caynn picked up his own rifle, aimed it towards the German -- and calmly smiled.
a gunshot echoed.
After the battle, Caynn's unit was given the order to head back to the main base in Russia.
The following night, Caynn woke up the others and told them his plan.
They gathered the necessary supplies. A stolen lighter and a few gallons of oil. The night sky of Russia had burned a bright shade of red. The training base where Caynn and his brother had spent the majority of their childhood, was no more. Caynn and his group spent the next few days tracking ships and cargo planes that were heading to certain international countries. There, other children would stow-away and hope to hitch a ride back to their home countries. Caynn ended up on a ship headed to England with a close friend, William, who was kidnapped from his family. His dad was a doctor, so he offered Caynn some medical help, and asked him to live with him and his family. A few more years passed, but the war was still going. William's parents, every bit grateful to Caynn for bringing their son back to them, gladly offered him a place in the family. William's dad did help mending up Caynn's damaged right eye. Caynn handed him the bloodied rag he had kept with him all this time. Inside, was an eyeball. The same eyeball that belonged to the last German he had killed. Of course, this eye would merely act as a prosthetic eye. Converting it into a semi-bionic eye would allow it to move, but the vision he once had will never come back. Afterwards, Everything had been going fairly well for Caynn. Caynn even studied medicine under William's father during his stay there. In the few years he had spent with them, he had acquired enough skill to perform minor surgeries and amputations. William's father had praised him, and told him that had the world not been in the state it was in, he would've made a fine doctor in the future. Caynn was happy. For the first time, he really believed that maybe, he had finally found a place he could call home.
More slaughter. More bloodshed.
The Russians had found him.
In a matter of minutes, William's entire family was dead.
It was only through luck that William's father realized what was going on beforehand, and was able to lead Caynn to a hidden closet, in a place people would miss easily if they weren't looking carefully. He whispered, 'Go find an organization called 'g-enesis'. The son of a close friend of mine is there. They can help you.' He then quickly ran back to his family, leaving Caynn to hide in a cramped closet, forced to listen to the screams and gunshots echoing right beyond this closet door.
Caynn covered his ears and, crying, hoped that the whole world would just disappear.
Angry shouting could be heard.
More muffled footsteps.
Sighs of frustration.
Eventually, the house was deserted.
Caynn finally got up, and left the closet.
The sight of the dead family before him did not surprise him.
He walked forward, grabbed the assault rifle William's dad had kept in a safe place in his office, some ammo, and left the house for good, leaving all of the previous years' memories behind as well.
With all his tears dried out and not a shred of emotion left on his face,
he started his journey in search for the organization known as 'g-enesis.'
